INTEGRATION ENGINEER II needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in MELBOURNE, FL

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Serves as a member of the SOA Suite Service Integration team, responsible for aspects of service integration design for on-boarding services to the Harris Enterprise Service Bus, supporting the VA and DoD enterprises to support message interoperability.
- Responsible for developing work flows, configuration of WebSphere products, experience with configuration and integration of Layer 7 SSG

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Experience with at least some of the following keywords: ESQL, WebSphere, Message Queue, DB2, Business Monitor, Deployment Monitor, or IBM Service Registry and Repository (WSRR)
- Developer with a strong technical background vs. system engineering
- Graduate degree with Minimum 4 years experience covering all phases of software and system development
- Graduate degree (or equivalent experience) in a systems or software engineering discipline.
- Minimum three (3) years spent working as a SOA software development and configuration of services, designing a significant distributed messaging system.
- Minimum three (3) years experience with at least one of the following COTS products: Layer 7 SSG, IBM WebSphere Message Broker/Queue (WMB/WMQ), IBM Service Registry and Repository (WSRR), other IBM WebSphere Application Server products (WAS) like Process Server (PS), ODM, etc.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Strong understanding of software and systems drivers as specified in ESB service integration requirements.
- Good writing and communication skills
- Able to lead a small team.
- Working knowledge of a high-level computer programming language (eg Java, Scala, C++) and one Scripting language (eg Perl).
- Deep understanding of SOA concepts such as architecture, service, service Proxy, governance, security. Working knowledge of SOA- related standards eg REST, SOAP, WSDL, WS-*.
- Have worked with SOA related technologies such as Enterprise Service Bus, Application Server, Web Services, REST, JMS, specifically using IBM WebSphere products .
- Working knowledge of enterprise monitoring concepts and tools (eg Tivoli, Zabbix).
- Working knowledge of configuration management and deployment tools (eg puppet, chef).
- Has worked in an agile, eg SCRUM, environment.
- Understands cloud concepts and technology.
- Familiar with UI concepts and tools (HTML5, AJAX).
- Knowledge of healthcare systems eg HER and PHR.
- Knowledge of healthcare standards eg HL7 2.x, 3.0, FHIR, ICD, and SNOMED.
- Has worked within the government healthcare environment.
