Integration Developer

Beacon Hill Technologies has a 5-6 month contract opportunity for an Integration Developer that has experience with Altiris Deployment Server Management Suite Tools.

Job Duties:

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Four year college degree, certification or equivalent work experience relative to information delivery platforms and systems. A minimum 5 years experience in application integration and desktop support. Active Directory components relative to desktop management and operating systems. Strong knowledge/experience with the following technologies: Active Directory group policies, profiles, device management, application management; application packaging tools (WISE, MSI); desktop operating systems and configuration; Altiris Notification and Deployment Server Management Suite tools experience preferred. Powershell Scripting and Microsoft SQL knowledge a plus.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical, research, writing, and interpersonal skills and will work effectively with users and management. Excellent troubleshooting skills and creative approaches to problem resolution are a must. The individual will be detail-oriented, well organized, a self-starter and able to work independently and as part of a team. The ability to effectively coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple and competing priorities and assignments is required. Must have the flexibility to complete projects and assignments outside normal business hours.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for coordinating the delivery of Firm-managed applications and 2nd and 3rd level support for various applications and platforms; profile management, and application packaging/deployment. Responsible for deploying desktop upgrades and ensuring each upgrade is complete, or troubleshooting and resolving issues, with an upgrade. Deployment is scheduled to occur approximately 4 nights each week and possibly some weekends. Maintenance of group processes, documentation, communication and procedures.
