Integration Design Engineer

Yoh has a contract opportunity for an INTEGRATION DESIGN ENGINEER to join an Aerospace firm in Greensboro, NC. This is a 12+ month contract with a strong possibility of it going much longer.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Coordination of drawing off board reviews to account for impact to surrounding parts and installations.
- Assure that all necessary parts are being considered in approved design changes. Space reserved for movable parts are properly considered in design. 2D documentation properly represents the intent of design and is in line with company requirements
- Generate management reports to demonstrate integrity of design, issues reported and fixed.
- Pro-actively work with teams to address issues found or reported.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering BS with at least ten (10) years of experience in Vehicle Design, preferably in Systems Installation.
- Proficiency in using CATIA for design and also experience with clash/clearance analysis.
- Understanding of technologies involved in assembling new aircraft and installing systems.
- Experience in implementing clash/clearance analysis with CATIA in at least one company.
- TeamCenter experience would be a significant plus for our consideration.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications.
