Integration Business Analyst

An opportunity exists for a Business Analyst to join a large government organization to define business requirements for a Back End integration project aligned with the organizational business leads. The successful candidate must have immediately availability and superb written and verbal communication skills.

Key Accountabilities:

- Gathering business requirements and then translating them into technical requirements
- Assisting with system integration
- Assisting with problems that may arise related to the project scope
- Prioritisation of issues relating to achievements of targets and deadlines
- Assisting with integration associated tasks such as technical risk management
- Effectively communicating between the business stakeholders, end users, vendors and development teams, as well as undertaking business process mapping, user documentation, facilitation
- Assisting with project scoping

Required skills:

- Strong and in-depth business and technical analysis experience
- Backend integration experience in a large project environment
- Experience in coordinating change, defect and release management
- Experience in business process modelling and Use Case modelling
- Experience in Web Services modelling
- Strong experience in XML Datamodelling
- Strong business, stakeholder and vendor management experience
- Strong documentation skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills - verbal and written
- Proven knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Ability to deliver project work on schedule and prioritise the work as needed
- Experience in a fast paced organisation as you will need to hit the ground running NOW
