For our Client, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an

INTEGRATED MIDDLE OFFICE SPECIALIST

Duration: 9 months

Location: Zurich

YOUR ROLE

Do you have already worked in a strategic project of a Bank or Asset Manager? Are you an operational allrounder of various Operations- and Middle Office Functions? Are you incredibly organized with an eye for detail? Do you know how to take care of business?

We're looking for someone like that to:

- understand Trade Processing and Settlements of Trades
- understand Accounting and Reconciliation
- understand Asset Management and Operations processes
- understand Security Instruments ie Fixed Income, Equities, Collective Funds, OTC, ETD & FX
- process understanding of fee commission calculation and accounting of payable & income
- work closely within the Project Team and all operational functions to meet project targets

YOUR TEAM

You'll be part of a strategic Asset Management initiative. You will work closely within the Project Team and with the Asset Management Operations team in Zurich and Offshore which is responsible for the Middle Office coverage of different functions of Asset Management department in Switzerland and Europe. Guided by this team you will be mainly responsible for performing operational due diligence and regression testing in connection with the above mentioned strategic project which is related to all client segments of Asset Management department in Switzerland. This may also include providing operational guidance on front to back questions and matters related to this project as well as proposing measures for mitigation of operational risk.

YOU HAVE

- min 3-5 years within Operations or Middle Office Function
- exposure to an Accounting, Reconciliation or Trade Processing environment (highly desired)
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- willingness to engage in project work
- a strong risk-awareness mentality
- the ability to multi-task and solve problems
- strong hands-on approach, creativity, out-of-the-box thinking and team-playing

YOU ARE

- fluent in English and German
- adaptable, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- highly numerate and have excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Excel
- accountable for your actions and highly self-motivated
- able to work collaboratively within a team and delivery oriented
- able to provide constructive challenge
