Integrated Logistics Manager

My Defence/MOD related Client is urgently recruiting for an Integrated Logistics Manager to work on a specific project in the Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear team.

The Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Protection Delivery Team (DT) provides a wide range of CBRN protection capabilities to Defence. These range from detection capabilities (Chemical Agent Monitors), to protection systems (suits and respirators for ground troops and aircrew), decontamination facilities (Fuller's Earth) through to knowledge and hazard management networked systems (to enable deployed troops to understand the likely geographical impact of a CBRN event or attack). The Team is responsible for delivery of CBRN capability to all 3 services and provides both generalist (General Service Respirator) and specialist equipment to dedicated CBRN troops (Such as the CBRN Wing and Light Role Teams.) The team is "through-life", looking after delivery and support of equipment. The team has around 60 people and is based in Bristol.

The Post:
Currently building towards its Main Gate submission, the Biological Surveilance Collector System is delivering the capability that will protect the Armed Forces from the threat of Biological Warfare into the 2020s. This position will support the project manager in the development of the Gate submission and the down select of the Prime Contractor. The successful candidate will take direct responsibility for the development of the schedule and associated risks required to support the MG Business Case. Furthermore the post holder will support the development of the Through Life Management Plan. To meet these objectives, the successful applicant should have experience of scheduling, risk management, cost management, assumptions management.

Essential
* Competence in using MS Project, risk management tools and evidence of 3 Point Estimating.

Desirable
* Experience of managing MOD Acquisition Assurance Process. Experience in the development and maintenance of cost models
