Integrated Circuit Design Engineer Job

IC DESIGN ENGINEER needed for a LONG TERM CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Chandler, AZ.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Electronic Automation Design Tools
- Reference Flow Development

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- IC Design Engineer will focus on flows for analog and digital and full custom circuits.
- IC Design Engineer will perform reference flow development for the Cadence Encounter ASIC toolset.
- IC Design Engineer will interface with cross-functional teams and provide schedule updates and roadmap plans.
- IC Design Engineer will drive the development of design flows for multiple engineering customers using industry standard EDA software such as Cadence, Mentor, Synopsys, etc.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- MSEE, CS or related subject matter and five (5+) year's recent experience in IC Design.
- Expertise in ASIC flows including synthesis, auto-place-and-route, static timing analysis, and physical verification.
- Fluency in C++, experience with various Electronic Design Automation EDA software, flows, and architecture.
- Knowledge of front-to-back IC design flows with focus on analog/mixed-signal solutions.
- Solid understanding of integrated circuit IC simulation tools and related methodologies.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience writing EDI techfiles would be a nice-to-have. Experience with Version Control.
