Insurance Compliance Partner - General Insurance, Financial Promotions

OUR CLIENT, A LARGE CONSULTANCY FIRM IS LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED COMPLIANCE PROFESSIONAL WITH A BACKGROUND IN GENERAL INSURANCE AND COMPLIANCE ADVISORY WORK TO TAKE ON A BUSINESS PARTNERING ROLE WITH ONE OF THEIR END CLIENTS.

Summary

- Be able to work with individuals at all levels of the organisation and partner insurers
- Provide sound Compliance advice in all working practices to ensure good customer outcomes

Product Experience

- Home
- Motor
- PPI
- Bundled bank accounts which include GI products either at a cost or free eg travel

Experience and Skills

- Be familiar with reviewing scripts, policy documentation, all other forms of marketing communications including on line, posters, leaflets etc. Not required to carry out Fin Prom reviews for marketing communications, but provide advice and sign off from a product perspective ( although will be required with to sign off scripts and policy documentation)
- Previous experience with GI tender process
- Familiarity with FCA Rules particularly ICOBS

Key activities

Participate in regular calls with insurance partners

- Provide Compliance Advice on a number of different projects either as a member of the project or SME eg:
- Branding
- PS15/22 (GI add ons). Be familiar with auto renewals process and impact of substantive changes, and impact of add ons to customer journey
- Advised v non advised sales process
- Provide peer review support to team members and wider Compliance Advice team where necessary
- Deal with variety of Compliance Advice queries from GI team
- Support/deputise for GI Compliance Advice Manager, particular on Fridays when she is not in
- Be able to proactively deal with conflict and engender good working relationships with contacts in the business
- Represent Compliance Advice to ensure good customer outcomes in GI tender process
