RESPONSIBILITIES
Annual Renewal (and other renewals as applicable)

- Coordination of documentation for lenders and partners
- Check accuracy of Insurance policies and process premium payments
- Request policy corrections as needed
- File policies and associated documentation, as appropriate
- Review accuracy of premium invoices

Quarterly Adjustments

- Verify all endorsements and invoice
- Maintain partner controlled insurance list

Divestitures

- Provide potential buyer with current insurance information
- Provide potential buyer with loss data

Acquisitions
Agreement Review

- Management/Development
- PSA
- Major Leases
- Loan Agreements

Obtain quote

- Comparison to partner quote and recommendation/conclusion memo
- Maintain partner controlled insurance list
- Review insurance wording in leases, loan documents, purchase orders and other legal documents to evaluate appropriateness of wording and assure compliance
- Identify current procedures and terminology used. Make recommendations for improvement where appropriate
- Review or create standardized insurance wording for use in contracts and other legal documents and monitor compliance
- Review insurance and indemnification wording in contracts against established standards and provide guidance on preferred wording {c}

SKILLS
Must be proficient in MS Office. Property/Casualty Insurance License a plus. Experience in Corporate Real Estate Insurance Environment a plus.
