Instrumentation Technical Support Specialist II Job

INSTRUMENTATION TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in INDIANAPOLIS, IN.

- Medical instrumentation support
- Technical Support
- Database maintenance

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Provide technical support to customers
- Specialize in IT solutions for instrumentation (clinical systems, immunology, molecular, blood gas, urinalysis and hospital diabetes care)
- Customer support on a rotating shift coverage schedule including weekends, holiday shifts and/or pager
- Work with customers in troubleshooting instrumentation and software
- Identify problems, answer basic questions on the function and usage of products and recommend solutions
- Provide technical assistance to sales, marketing and other departments
- Serve as primary support liaison between client and their customer
- Recommend solutions for customer's application questions and accurately maintain a database for tracking and trending

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- S. or equivalent required - Bachelor's degree in IT preferred
- Two (2) years minimum experience doing technical support on medical instrumentation and software
- Ability to work rotating shift
- Experience with Google apps and MS Office products
- Data Entry skills
