Instrumentation & Electrical Engineer Job

ELECTRICAL AND INSTRUMENTATION ENGINEER needed for a long term CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in ALVIN, TX.

THE BIG PICTURE-TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- This position is located at a large industrial chemical facility client site
- The company maintains an engineering team at the site

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Plant-based I ten (10) years experience.
- Texas PE a plus.
- Minimum ten (10) years experience in a chemical or petrochemical plant environment.
- Experience specifying instrumentation and sizing control valves for chemical processes.
- Have working understanding of analytical, flow, level, pressure, temperature, and weigh system instruments.
- Experience specifying power distribution hardware and controls for system voltages less than 600 VAC. Have working understanding of motor control centers, transformers, panelboards and Switches.
- Working knowledge of NFPA70 - National Electric Code and in particular electrical area classification grounding and bonding, and lightning protection.
- Experience specifying Emerson DeltaV and PROVOX process control system hardware. Have working understanding of PLC based systems hardware.
