Instrumentation and Electrical Technician Job

INSTRUMENTATION AND ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in ST. LOUIS, MO.

- I&E industrial experience.
- Trade school certification.
- Work 2nd shift.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Procure, install and troubleshoot a variety of electrical equipment.
- Calibrate manufacturing instrumentation according to procedures.
- Perform routine PMs on manufacturing and building equipment.
- Troubleshoot PLC equipment.
- Plan and layout larger electrical projects.
- Assist other maintenance techs with assigned tasks.
- Complete instrument tracking documentation.
- Complete required safety tasks and activities.
- Develop procedures for instrument calibrations and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Support facility operations by completing assigned work orders.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Accredited trade school diploma or certificate is required.
- Ten (10) years of industrial experience working on instrumentation and electrical equipment.
- Applicable military training will be considered equivalent to industrial experience.
- Strong mechanical skills.
- Proficient communication and computer skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality workmanship and flexibility in job assignments.
- Ability and initiative to complete job assignments in a timely manner.
- Follow safe work practices, NEC guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
- Must be available for occasional night shift and weekend call-ins.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.
- Able to work in a team environment.
