Instrumentation and Controls Technician

Yoh has a contract opportunity for an INSTRUMENTATION AND CONTROLS TECHNICIAN to join our client in Portland, OR.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Instrumentation and Controls Technician will be responsible for calibration, troubleshooting and repair of industrial instrumentation and control devices.
- Instrumentation and Controls Technician will also be responsible for the commissioning of new systems.
- Duties will also include management of documentation for calibration, repair and commissioning activities.
- Take routine direction from an assigned supervisor.
- Take part in high end design verification, system troubleshooting, and system tuning.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Minimum two (2) years of field experience with calibration of field instrumentation including pressure, temperature, flow, humidity, transducers and analysis devices.
- Experience with calibration and repair of control valves and pneumatic actuators.
- Level 1 ISA Certified Control Systems Technician (CCST) or equivalent.
- Limited Maintenance Electrician Electrical License (LME) or higher.
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite
- CPR/FIRST Aid training and current certification is required.
