Instrument Maintenance Worker

Are you an experienced Instrument Maintenance Worker seeking a new challenge? This is an ideal opportunity to work on a 12 month contract within the nuclear industry.

Your key Objective is to undertake Instrument maintenance duties within recognised competence levels and disciplines

Deliverables
* To undertake maintenance duties within recognised competence levels and disciplines. To undertake maintenance duties within recognised competence levels and disciplines as directed by the Maintenance Engineer/Maintenance Team Leader to the requirements of current empowered documentation.. To undertake health physics self monitoring duties. To carry out zone monitoring and inspection of all plant and systems assigned. To carry out basic slinging and lifting duties. To provide a maintenance stores service as directed by the Maintenance Engineer/Maintenance Team Leader. Comply with all Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality Policies, procedures, work instructions and risk assessments and support the continuous improvement of Health, Safety, Environment & Quality on site

Essential/Desirable Skills
* Time served apprenticeship or equivalent eg city and guilds/BTEC/NQF Level 3.. Demonstrable experience within a responsible role in an operational or maintenance department, preferably within the nuclear power industry.. Experience of working within an Instrument maintenance role. Should demonstrate good team working skills, enthusiasm, commitment, innovative thinking and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.. An understanding of safe systems of work.. Maintenance background would be preferable
