Instrument and Controls Engineer

Yoh has a contract opportunity for an INSTRUMENT AND CONTROLS ENGINEER to join our client in North Kingstown, RI.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- The successful candidate will begin by working with our equipment assemblers for a period of approximately 3 months fabricating equipment, testing equipment and making small PLC program modifications.
- After this period the controls engineer will mostly focus on modifications to PLC programs to meet customer needs.

QUALIFICATIONS (MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS):

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering required.
- Electrical engineering background preferred but would consider a Mechanical Engineer with PLC Experience.
- Candidate must have Programmable Logic Controls experience (PLC).
- Should be able to read electrical schematics, understand ladder logic and basic programming techniques.
