Instructional Systems Designer

Our client needs Instructional Designer(s) to engage with internal customers to design and develop training leveraging customer's collateral. Training will be developed into virtual, launch-on-demand training delivered as pre-requisites to attend an internal conference in 2013 in Las Vegas.

Training will include:

- Professional captured voice-over narration
- Interactivity (gaming, quizzes, simulations, etc.)

Training will be developed leveraging pre-defined Adobe template.

OVERVIEW

- Meet with SMEs and obtain collateral
- Develop training leveraging SME collateral
- Review training development copy and make recommendations to trim copy for effective presentation to end users
- Schedule dates with SMEs to record audio narration to be plugged into developed training
- Test completed output for proper functionality
- Review prototypes with Instructional Design Manager to ensure design and development meets unified conference guidelines
- Schedule dates with SME's to review and receive approval of completed training development

REQUIREMENTS

- At least 5 years Instructional Design and Delivery experience or equivalent work related knowledge and experience
- Sales experience preferred
- Very strong stakeholder/SME management REQUIRED
- Adobe Captivate 5.5 or higher
- Knowledge and experience writing learning objectives
- Ability to write effective test questions to ensure learning objectives are met
- Audio software/hardware experience a must (ie, Audacity, Audition, Samsung USB Condenser Mic)
- Demonstrated ability to hold people's attention while presenting, ie speaks clearly and concisely, communicates without jargon, delivers technical information effectively to audiences of various technical ability and knowledge
- Must have strong analytical skills and ability to identify customer needs and gaps related to learning and recommend solutions
- Knowledge of PC applications: Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Visio
- NICE TO HAVE: Gaming, Flash Professional CS6, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Creative Cloud
