Instructional System Designer - Secret Clearance Job

INSTRUCTIONAL SYSTEM DESIGNER needed for a CONTRACT TO HIRE opportunity with Yoh's client located in Orlando, Florida.

POSSESSION OF OR THE ABILITY TO OBTAIN A SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED AS A CONDITION FOR EMPLOYMENT.

MUST BE CURRENTLY ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN THE US FOR ANY EMPLOYER.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Ability to obtain a secret clearance
- One to five (1-5) years of ISD experience

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The candidate will work as a member of a multi-project team that involves various aspects of the instructional design process. Specific duties may include:
- Analyzing pre-existing curriculum materials to identify gaps in training and material reuse.
- Designing new curriculum, to include Terminal and Enabling Objectives, using learning theories and Instructional Systems Development (ISD) principles, models, and strategies.
- Developing and/or revising instructional materials using both AIM LOM and our content authoring tool.
- Implementing pilot curriculum materials for client review.
- Evaluating pilot curriculum materials to determine if students achieved desired learning outcomes.
- Interacting frequently with team members and clients in an effective and tactful manner.
- Multi-tasking across several different projects.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science (BA/BS) degree in Instructional Systems Design, Education, Psychology, Human Performance Technology, or other related field.
- Minimum of one to five (1-5) years of experience teaching or applying instructional systems design skills to the analysis, design, and/or development of formal education or training programs.
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office products
- Prior experience working with or supporting the Navy or DoD a plus
