Description

We are seeking an Instructional Designer for 3 months to work as part of our client's Global Learning Design team supporting Sales clients. This role will specifically involve developing several E-learning modules as part of a global sales skills curriculum.

The role will involve working directly with the sales skills Curriculum Manager and with Subject Matter Experts within the GBO organization to carry out task analysis, develop elearning modules and other supporting materials.

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelors Degree in Instructional Design, Education, Computer Science, Graphic Design, Interaction Design or equivalent.

Masters degree and/or equivalent experience an advantage.

3+ years experience designing, developing and implementing interactive E-learning programs/courseware preferably in a corporate multinational setting or in a sales or product training context

Technical Skills:

-Should have depth of skill and experience in general instructional design process and production techniques, including a depth of experience in at least one of the following areas as well as some knowledge of one or more of the others:
-E-learning/Video Content Development:
- Proficiency in rapid E-learning courseware development and related tools (Articulate Presenter, Camtasia, Smartbuilder or similar, iMovie, Premier Pro, After Effects) as well as a strong working knowledge of media formats and standards.
- Instructional Design:

Proficient in aspects of training development and delivery, including instructional design methodologies, needs analysis and project management. Ability to write concise copy and optimise text for the web an advantage.

- Graphic/Text layout and Design:

Ability to create custom creative graphic assets, presentations, infographics, documents and other training material combining text and image.

-Infrastructure:

Experience working with CMS/LMS systems for content management and delivery.

-Experience working with stakeholders and clients across different business contexts.
- Adept at working with SMEs, including scoping, adapting and validating content.
-Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under ambitious timeframes in a fast paced, high-pressure environment.
-An effective communicator both written and verbally, comfortable communicating with various levels of SMEs, including senior personnel.
-Must be a team player capable of working effectively with colleagues and stakeholders throughout the business. Must also be able to work independently, and as part of a distributed team.
-Naturally creative and imaginative, organised, self-motivated.
-An eye for detail, flexible, able to take feedback and be willing to adapt design ideas to meet business, technical or other requirements.
-Has a keen knowledge of and interest in current developments in interactive media, particularly as they apply to learning.
