Instructional Designer

Seeking an Instructional Designer with a strong emphasis on graphics, web, and animation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Evaluates, plans, and develops WBT and virtual course material.
- Uses solid Front End and task analysis skills to determine appropriate design plans for each project.
- Collaborates with functional organizations to develop course content (eg, written and electronic materials, including training courses, training proposals).
- Manages vendors to ensure quality, consistency, and relevance of vendor course materials.
- Conducts pilot sessions and facilitating alternative delivery methods.
- Research and development of new technologies, development of standard templates, models and job aids for enterprise- wide multimedia training development.

SKILLS
High-end eLearning/mLearning skills are required for the design and development tasks of creating course material. Excellent work ethic, self-starter, attention to detail and attendance are critical. Must have excellent project management skills and be able to work in an atmosphere of ambiguity and with little supervision. Must follow directions and use existing instructional design standards and processes. Must be an expert in web-based training, design, and development, including theory/application. Expertise in MS Office Suite and Graphic Design needed. Must have excellent writing skills. Expertise in the following required: Photoshop, Flash, and Captivate. Desired skills and expertise: DocuTools, Lectora, and Camtasia.
