My client has an urgent requirement for an experienced InstallShield Software Developer to lead the design and development of software installation packages. You will join an expanding team within a Research and Development environment wherein your contribution will be key to the installation of new suites of software for a highly-successful software monitoring product

InstallShield Software Developer Role and Responsibilities:

- Full development life cycle responsibilities using Flexera InstallShield to develop product installations
- Develop system components to customer specifications using InstallShield
- Create and modify a variety of installation software suites
- Define associated processes, requirements, specifications, test plans etc for all of your software development activity

InstallShield Software Developer Skills and Experience:

- Detailed experience of the Flexera InstallShield product
- Knowledge of WIX or other software installation development products would be very beneficial
- Experience of C++ would be highly desirable to aid the automation of software builds
- Familiarity with Windows software development (32-bit or 64-bit)
- Experience with Visual Studio would be ideal

This is a Research and Development environment so an innovative approach to problem-solving and to the software development function will be also be required. You will join a small, specialist team and you will enjoy the opportunity to learn and adapt to a range of new technologies and tools.
