Inspector

Client on the Southern Seacoast of New Hampshire is looking to add a Material Handler/Incoming Inspector to their full time staff. The incumbent has responsibility to improve the timely flow of all materials into inventory, and reduce the risk that non-conforming materials reach the assembly floor. Performs quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the manufacture of products. Inspects materials, parts and products at different stages of production.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Perform Incoming Inspection utilizing work instruction, marked drawings and electronic worksheets. Provide visible identification of inspection status.
- Maintain inspection records in hard copy QC files and Syteline QC Module and Electronic Databases
- Utilize hand measuring instruments, apply inspection methods, and techniques necessary to verify part conformance to engineering requirements including completion of inspection test reports.
- Generate Material Rejection Reports (MRR) for non-conforming materials identified at incoming inspection and the assembly floor. Inspect all similar inventory and Quarantine additional non-conforming materials.
- Perform 1st article inspection of sheet metal and wire harness components.

REQUIREMENTS

- Formal Education Requirement: Minimum High School Diploma or Technical school graduate.
- Formal training in blueprint reading and geometric tolerance experience.
- 3-5 years hands on electro-mechanical inspection experience in a turbo-machinery or other heavy industrial equipment related manufacturing operation.
- Experience with Syteline ERP and it's QC Module
- Experienced in the use , calibration and care of all types of Inspection hand measuring instrumentsKnowledge of Inspection methods, techniques and shop practices for the manufacture of castings, sheet metal, machined parts, and fabricationsoInspection of Electrical harnesses, panel assemblies, and instrumentation components
