Insight Analyst - £40,000 - £50,000

My client a large financial consultancy are looking for an (SAS, SPSS) Senior Loyalty Analyst analysts to combine sophisticated data analysis techniques with a deep understanding of business objectives, to offer their clients the most powerful customer insights available in the marketplace. My client has extensive volumes of data to pick out the 'nuggets' that drive profitable marketing decisions.

The role will focus on understanding what impacts loyalty, how we change it, what trials we should put in place and the success of these trials. The senior analyst will be expected to produce work that can be explained and presented to non- technical individuals

Key Responsibilities:

The successful (SAS, SPSS) Senior Loyalty Analyst Analysts will use a wide variety of data mining and statistical modelling techniques to deliver insights that can improve a client's business.

-Define their loyalty segmentations and models for measuring their customers loyalty - functional and emotional
-Develop the techniques to measure the retention effect and brand benefit of each type of investment in Commercial and Marketing activity, as well as the short term sales uplift (SCR)
-Responsible for developing new, innovative insight approaches and methods to help understand customer loyalty
-Proactively manage delivery of project by communicating progress, challenging the brief and presenting results
-Hands on delivery of analytical projects using the most appropriate delivery tools - SAS, SQL, Excel.

Knowledge/Qualifications:
Good knowledge of SAS or other programming based analytic software such as SPSS (not point-and-click)
Numeric degree or equivalent e.g. Stats, Maths, Physics, Economics etc

Work Experience:
Experience in data interpretation
Experience in using SAS or SPSS
Able to communicate with clients and colleagues about how their insights can be used

Desirable
Experience of presenting analytic findings to a non analytic audience.
Relevant industry sector knowledge

Previous experience in building statistical models (logistic regression, clustering etc)
