Customer insight Analyst - £45,000 - based inLondon

A market leading company headquartered inLondonis looking for a Insight Analyst to report into the Senior Insight Analyst within the customer function of the business. The role holder will be responsible for working with one of the various teams within the business to deliver insight around customer behaviour, segmentation, analysis, value ect.

You will be responsible for delivering commercially based actionable insight, which will improve ROI and effectiveness of our marketing activity through data-led insight. To be a success in this role you must have excellent written and oral skills with the ability to turn numbers into insight your audience can understand and use.

Responsibilities

This role will suit someone who has:

-An analytically focused marketer who is able to understand the use of insight & analytical tools and techniques to drive commercial targets
-A confident individual who is not afraid to say no when numbers and actions are being challenged

Experience

-A maths / stats background Degree (Masters preferred) with excellent attention to detail
-Knowledge of data mining and statistical techniques including linear and logistical regression, CHAID, clustering ect
-2yrs + experience in the use and application of analytic tools SPSS, KXEN, Angoss
-Experience using SQL(expert level) query writing skills and strong data interpretation skills, with extensive experience of manipulation and extraction of data from transactional databases - 'big data' (Teradata, Exadata)
-Support our approach to targeting and profiling for direct customer communications. Including SMS, E-mail, direct mail, door drops etc.
-Responsible for the operational maintenance of segmentation models, ensuring that this is utilised for customer communications.
-Develop models to predict customer behaviour using transactional data, including acquisition, cross, up-sell, lapse, churn and win back
-Develop our understanding of strategic segmentation, customer profitability, and customer lifetime value.

Understanding how customer's attitudes can affect their purchasing behaviour, and developing customer

journey trigger and event activity based on this insight

-Enhance our existing data through appending various external variables to improve insight and segmentation
