THE BIG PICTURE- TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:
- Representatives must take ownership of the inquiry, have the ability to identify the inquirer's need, bring the inquiry to a satisfactory resolution, and escalate as necessary
- Experience using Customer Relationship Management database
- Salesforce.com preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel®, Word® and PowerPoint®
- Experience in proactive outbound calling projects
- Must complete MS Office questionnaire
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Inside Sales Representatives are primarily responsible for promoting and selling clients products and/or services to and maintain relationships with both current and potential customers
- They may work independently within an assigned territory or customer base
- Responsible for qualifying inquiries, ensuring information is relayed and recorded appropriately and accurately, keeping in mind that every contact is an opportunity to influence a purchasing decision and create favorability for the client
- Representatives are responsible for receiving and resolving inquiries via telephone and web, managing the lead process from inquiry to closure
- Representatives navigate and exploit multiple types of reference information, sources and databases to retrieve product, service and contact information
- Representatives qualify, handle or route inquiries (phone/web) related to sales, marketing and technical requests
- Manage outbound telephone projects utilizing scripts from various businesses to solicit information regarding surveys, launches of new products, webinars, follow up to trade shows, etc
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:
- Strong telephone skills
- Must maintain strict confidentiality
- Strong written customer correspondence skills
- Strong Interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong web navigation skills
- College degree/High-school diploma or GED
