INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

LONDON

SALARY £21,000 - £24,000 + COMMISSION

My client is one of the world's leading software security companies, specialising in consulting services and products to help its clients build more secure software. They are looking to hire an Inside Sales Representative, to support sales and marketing efforts, primarily communicating with existing and potential clients by telephone and email to generate and qualify leads for Sales Directors. This person is critical in generating meetings that lead to new business through cold calling and emailing activities.

JOB ROLE:

- Conduct targeted sales calls in order to gain key customer information, promote services and achieve appointments for the field sales team
- Qualify inbound leads based on a pre-determined list of questions and get a further meeting or conference call for the sales director for qualified leads
- Lead select call campaigns to generate leads or gather information that will enable growth for the company
- Develop and maintain relationships with the marketing team as well as with individual sales executives to whom the qualified leads will be passed
- Assist at conferences when needed by attending and helping with coordination or manning the booth
- Build and maintain a database of leads by conducting research on contact information and qualifying leads
- Use company database of contacts as a source of leads
- Increase knowledge and stay up-to-date with the company's service offerings and the application security field
- Produce daily summaries and weekly reports of inside marketing results

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Excellent telephone manner
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to qualify a prospect accurately
- Enthusiastic - enjoy talking with people and being on the phone
- Organised - ability to work through a list and document results in a spreadsheet or database
- Tenacious, determined, and driven to succeed in order to achieve targets
- Computer proficiency
- Experience working in a high-tech environment, IT Company preferred
- Experience using Salesforce preferred
- Experience working in a services sales environment preferred

EDUCATION:

- Bachelors degree or commensurate industry experience
