Innovation Manager

As Innovation Manager you will be responsible for identification of products or a need for a solution to provide innovative solutions, products and service offering consistent with business strategy, regulatory frameworks and customer requirements.

You will guide the Service Strategy Analysts and be jointly charged with contributing new products and services. This extends from increasing the profitability of existing products to developing new products for the company. You will build products from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas based on your industry experience and your contact with customers and technology suppliers.

You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time in the market to understand their problems, and find innovative solutions for the broader market.

Experience Required
* Good standard of product or service development experience
* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills
* Understanding of the regulated metering license, contract and service obligations and associated governance frameworks
* Appreciation of current market place, processes, issues faced by customers and potential customers of the business
* Understanding of the proposition development life cycle
* Numerate; able to articulate business case to change and establish basis for benefits realisation
* Communication and influencing skills with the ability challenge and champion and gain commitment to ideas and projects with people at all levels within the business Intellectual, organisational and analytical capabilities
* Able to manage and interact with stakeholders
* Experience in working within a multi-project environment and helping stakeholders prioritise with Analytical mindset, including the ability to identify and track relevant metrics
* Ability to plan, organise, prioritise and delegate work to meet deadlines and work within a multidisciplined team
