Innovation Hub Project Lead

JWA is seeking an Innovation Hub project lead to deliver for a client project based in Milton Keynes with occasional visits to London. The project lead will research, identify and implement best practice for a collaborative innovation hub. The project lead will then liaise closely with the core team and support the start up of a strategy innovation group for a full range of partners.  

We are looking for a client and stakeholder focused lead with innovation management experience in building collaborative teams and innovative processes including project selection and research and development.  

The project lead will have multi modal or integration capability experience with an ability to exhibit strategic behaviours balanced with a pragmatic delivery outlook.  

This is a twelve month contract with an excellent chance of a long term extension. Please send an up to date CV for further information.

Requirements

Experience within the Transport Sector, ideally in a number of areas (rail, car, aviation, etc) 

Self starter with experience of running and leading projects 

Start-up experience with a new business/division or in new projects/programme where there is no previous processes in place 

Customer focused, demonstrable through CV- can be through stakeholder engagement 

Experience as an innovation manager or responsibility for innovation. 

Experience working in areas on the cutting edge of technology or strategy 

Demonstrable commercial exposure 

Exposure to procurement and business development
