Injury Management Coordinator

An iconic industry leader is seeking an experienced Injury Management Coordinator to provide maternity leave cover and continue the focus on rehabilitation and return to work coordination.
Reporting to the OHS manager, you will be working within the existing team of Injury Management, Injury Prevention and Self-Insurance Coordinators to achieve optimal rehabilitation outcomes.

Responsibilities will include:

- Rehabilitation of injured workers
- Develop suitable plans and duties programs for injured workers
- Assist with the Wellness program including early prevention and ergonomic improvement programs
- Managing stakeholders effectively
- Adherence to QLD Workers Compensation Legislation

Skills and Qualifications

- WHSO qualifications and a Current Rehabilitation Coordinators Certificate
- A minimum of two years experience in a similar role
- Background in Workplace Rehabilitation
- Understanding of the Queensland Workers Compensation and Rehabilitation Act
- Background in manufacturing or process industries will be held in high regard
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to all levels
