Injury Management Coordinator

An iconic industry leader is seeking a suitably experienced Injury Management Coordinator to provide maternity leave cover, someone who can fit in quickly with the existing team and continue with a focus on rehabilitation and return to work coordination.

Reporting to the OHS manager, you will be working in a team of Injury Management, Injury Prevention and Self-Insurance Coordinators to achieve optimal rehabilitation outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

- Rehabilitation of injured workers
- Develop suitable plans and duties programs for injured workers
- Assist with the Wellness program including early prevention and ergonomic improvement programs
- Managing stakeholders effectively
- Adherence to QLD Workers Compensation Legislation

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

- WHSO qualifications and a Current Rehabilitation Coordinators Certificate
- A minimum of two years experience in a similar role
- Background in Workplace Rehabilitation
- Understanding of the Queensland Workers Compensation and Rehabilitation Act
- Background in manufacturing or process industries will be held in high regard
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to all levels
