PROFILE:

- Proactive and able to deal with intense testing periods with a cool head
- A strong Leader/Manager/coordinator profile who can organize and coordinate groups of business super-users for UAT
- Strong communication skills since much interaction with project teams/stakeholders
- Can implement methods, procedures and directives
- Experience working within a Scandinavian culture
- Fluent in English (Spoken & Written)
- Ideally located in Oslo or willing to relocate
- Previous experience working with outsourcing to Indian companies is an asset

RELEVANT PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

- Operational Test Management experience within large scale infrastructure projects ideally in the Chemical/Industrial areas
- Experience through test life cycle experience (Integration testing, User Acceptance Testing, etc)
- Ability to co-ordinate the testing activities
- Previous experience working with Service Managers and technical architects (not software) and off-shore teams
- Experience with managing and coordinating large international groups of Super Users for User Acceptance tests across many countries
- Good experience of AD, Cloud, End User Services, Service Desk and Multi Vendor Co-ordination
- Experience with outsourcing to an external vendor and working on the customer project

SUBSET OF DUTIES/DELIVERABLES

- Develop acceptance criteria for
- Work together with the necessary stakeholders to create acceptance criteria
- Design of test strategy according to quality goals, test plan, test activities and responsibilities, test case design
- Verify scripts from vendor for end user testing
- Coaching, coordination and administration of test activities
- Create functional test cases and test scripts needed for internal testing
- Severity 1, 2, 3
- Ensure that the solution meet the requirements as outlined in the vendor contract
- Review of project vendor deliverables (test concept, test cases, scripts, test documentation, test reporting, error handling)
- Reporting on the test progress and defect tracking
- Issue and error handling and reporting
- Assist in setting up test scripts and running User Acceptance Testing
- Co-ordinating with end users
- Mobilisation of the testers
- Information to the end users of the changes and when we will mobilise them
- The Test Manager will work closely together with the Service Managers and the Architects
- While the External Vendor will have primary responsibility for the project, there will be highly coordinated and interrelated activities
- Working closely with the Training Manager to ensure mobilization the continuous involvement of business stakeholders for early user acceptance of the solution
- Planning and overseeing testing, review of test conditions, test scripts and test scenarios for the various business requirements
- Interacting with project functional and technical teams to understand schedule dependencies and ensure testing milestones are met
- Tracking test readiness and to ensure that complete test environment is ready and resources are trained before testing starts
- Managing resources in the test organization and planning the capacity
- Ensuring sign-off on all test plan deliverables and test closure memos
- Creation of test plans and test packages, Coordination of test document (test scripts), Coordination of test execution
- Providing regular status reports to Project Manager team and key stakeholders, in particular during test execution phases
- Continuous following-up and tracking of defect escalation with support teams
