For a project at our banking client site in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced

INFRASTRUCTURE TEST ANALYST - DESKTOP APPLICATIONS TESTING WINDOWS 10 (3752)

The Senior Test Analyst is required to analyse in-scope business requirements from product management to enable and actively develop, review and sign-off test cases (and test data) in advance of upcoming releases. Management and execution of Test Sets/Suites to ensure full coverage. Requirements traceability to be established to ensure coverage of all in-scope scenarios in order to facilitate consistent test reporting across all Test levels.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or closely related field
- MINIMUM 5+ YEARS' EXPERIENCE IN QA/TESTING
- ISTQB CERTIFICATION "CERTIFIED TESTER" FOUNDATION OR ADVANCED LEVEL
- Proven track record in test case design, test execution and Defect Management
- Strong understanding of testing and delivery life cycle methodologies
- Experience in engaging businesses in execution of testing
- TECHNICAL TEST TOOL SKILLS (EG HP ALM QUALITY CENTER, UFT/QTP, JIRA, ETC.)
- PROVEN TESTING EXPERIENCE IN THE BANKING INDUSTRY IS A PLUS
- Experience in working enterprise-wide for 10'000s of endpoints
- Experience working in environments as part of a team supporting or engineering Windows client deployments.
- STRONG TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE OF WINDOWS CLIENT ENVIRONMENT AND OF INTEGRATING CLIENTS SYSTEMS WITH OTHER CORE INFRASTRUCTURE COMPONENTS
- FAMILIARITY OF TROUBLESHOOTING IN AREAS SUCH AS MICROSOFT OFFICE, INTERNET EXPLORER, CHROME OR JAVA (THE MORE ITEMS COVERED THE BETTER)
- An understanding of the security requirements of deploying a Desktop build within a financial Institution and the ability to interpret security standards and ensure adherence
- Understanding of regulatory environment and requirements
- Know-how in VBS and Powershell
- THOROUGH KNOWLEDGE OF WINDOWS OPERATING SYSTEMS (FOCUS WINDOWS 10)
- STRONG EXPERIENCE OF TESTING AND DEBUGGING APPLICATIONS ON A WINDOWS PLATFORM
- STRONG KNOWLEDGE OF INTERNET EXPLORER TROUBLESHOOTING, INCLUDING JAVA AND .NET APPS
- STRONG KNOWLEDGE OF MICROSOFT OFFICE (2010 OR LATER) AND INTEGRATED TECHNOLOGIES

ABOUT THE ROLE:

- Oversee the preparation of Unit Tests by the Engineering teams
- Preparation and execution of Integration Tests together with QA teams
- Support the QA/Test lead in test management tasks (environment, tools, data, test readiness, etc.) and help represent the test team with internal/external stakeholders
- Defect Management on all Test Levels, retests and early escalation of risks
- Support QA/Test Reporting and QA/Test Dashboards covering all Test Levels
- Support the preparation and implement the Test Strategy, Test Plan and other required Test Deliverables in line with our clients testing standards
- Plan, control, assure and improve the quality of the project solutions delivered and the supporting engineering processes
- Plan, control, assure and improve test planning, test design, test execution, test data, test infrastructure, test tools, test environments, bug tracking and test reporting
- Plan, design, execute and report tests
- Generate test data, test cases, assures bug tracking and establishes test analysis and reports
- Develop automated test scripts
