Infrastructure Telecom Architect

Proteus Europe is searching for an IT Telecom Architect available to work in the Netherlands foe a short term contract

Your New role :-

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES
-Define technology standards and future state for Telecom (fixed and mobile)
-Creation and maintenance of reference architectures: design directives, standards, solution building blocks
- Creation and maintenance of technology roadmaps
- Research, cost-justify and drive technological improvements
-Liaise with enterprise architecture to assure overall fit and integration
-Act as solution architect for Workplace within projects and programs
-Analyze, design, review and/or approve technical solutions - assurance of compliance with directives, standards and guidelines
- Supervise implementations of solutions - in accordance with design
- Coach and/or manage project architects
- Maintain design documentation
- Maintenance of design documents within domain - assure completeness and integrity

Your Skills and experience :-

Essential Skills :-
- Knowledge of and direct experience with telephony solutions (fixed telephony infrastructure, VOIP regional carriers, subscription models, fixed/mobile hardware)
-Specific solutions include Nortel, Alcatel, and Cisco PBX/VOIP solutions, cloud audioconferencing, Tangoe expense management solutions, every major mobile carrier (GDM, CDMA)
-Bachelors degree; Masters preferred
- 3+ years of experience designing and implementing IT architectures
- Knowledge of and experience with defining and implementing architecture requirements: performance, maintainability, extendibility, scalability, availability, security and accessibility
- Knowledge of and experience with IT architecture methodologies and processes (eg TOGAF) and service management methods and processes (ITIL)
- Knowledge of and experience with service management, life cycle management and service catalogue;
-Knowledge of and experience with IT infrastructure development and operations;
-Knowledge of and experience service management methods, frameworks (ITIL certification) and ITSM Tooling.
