Infrastructure Technical Consultant (Win7, MDT, SCCM, GPO)

OUR CLIENT, IT SOLUTIONS PROVIDER IS LOOKING FOR A INFRASTRUCTURE TECHNICAL CONSULTANT FOR A 4 MONTH CONTRACT TO BE BASED IN CARDIFF.

INFRASTRUCTURE TECHNICAL CONSULTANT to technically lead a Win7MDT/SCCM2012 transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

- To represent/lead the assigned desktop project SME's in project meetings
- To work alongside Technical Architects, Project Managers and infrastructure/network/desktop SME's to deliver the transformation project.
- Collaboratively formulate the migration approach.
- To ensure delivery of the desktop/desktop tools elements of the project, from design LLD stage through to service acceptance.
- To deliver the GPO and Trend AV design and implementation for win7 to incorporate win7 policies.

Required Skills:

- VALID SC CLEARANCE IS A MUST
- Significant project experience in the desktop and desktop tools arena.
- Experience and knowledge of SCCM, Win 7 build, MDT ( inc task sequences).
- Expert knowledge of Group policy and Trend Anti-virus to design level to incorporate win7 policies.
- Previous transformation/lead experience in project space.
- Experience of desktop defect resolution.
