Infrastructure Technical Architect

OUR CLIENT, A LEADING IT COMPANY, IS LOOKING FOR AN INFRASTRUCTURE TECHNICAL ARCHITECT TO WORK ON A 5 MONTH CONTRACT IN CROYDON.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE TO BE SC CLEARED OR WILLING TO GO THROUGH SC CLEARANCE.

The individual will be responsible for:

- Producing coherent technical proposals that meets the customer requirements and complying with corporate technical strategy
- Understanding the technical dependencies between the various projects delivering the proposal and working with the Service Leads to ensure proper communication and alignment
- Interfacing into the customers equivalent architecture team to facilitate design approvals where necessary
- Arranging technical review meetings with project Service Leads and ensuring technical assurance of designs produced
- Ensuring that all TAs on the account (BAU TAs, Transformation TAs and other project TAs) have a consistent understanding of work taking place across the account
- Supporting the development and use of the MO Technical Strategy
- Providing a feedback process on delivery for the Solution Architect and Chief Technology Office teams
- Working with Project/Programme Managers to produce a plan that enables the timely delivery of the various project phases.

Top requirements are:

- Linux, Unix, Database (Oracle/SQL) experience
- Middleware technologies such as WebLogic, Oracle Service Bus experience
- experience working on government ended accounts
