SENIOR WINDOWS APPLICATION INFRASTRUCTURE (WINDOWS .NET ENGINEER).

LOCATION: SCRANTON, PA

SUMMARY OF POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Requirement:

5 years' experience in Windows operating system (Win2k3, Win2k8) configuration, maintenance and diagnostics.  Including knowledge of Powershell.

Certifications:  Microsoft:  MCSA, MCSE, MCTS, MCITP,   CompTIA:  A+, Network +    (Any)

Application infrastructure design, implementation, and oversight of shared and standalone Windows environments. Candidate will be responsible for planning, sizing and implementation of new applications.

Additionally candidate will be responsible for:

- Research, specifications, standards and tool development, and documentation for future generation Windows Server environments.
- Application infrastructure design and configuration related to Windows based applications.
- Level-3 problem resolution, root cause analysis and customer support.
- Ability to work on an after-hour on-call rotating schedule.
- Partner with technical experts both internal and external: Application Development, DBA, Networking, Security, Mainframe, Microsoft, etc.
- Business focus of this position mandates the drive towards learning detailed technical and business functions of the applications suite used to support the business. Further, this position is responsible for driving continuous improvement by proactively responding to problems and developing and implementing projects for future prevention.
