Infrastructure Systems Architect

An Infrastructure Systems Architect role based in Edinburgh city centre, paying between £35000 - £45000 This body of the Scottish government, based in the centre of Edinburgh, has global recognition and plays a key role in the countrys international development. In order to identify and implement new technology, they are looking to add an Infrastructure Systems Architect to their already sizeable IT department. You will be responsible for looking at the existing Infrastructure set up and identifying areas which could be improved or added to. Business cases for the new technology and systems will be prepared and presented to senior management.You will then be responsible for implementing the new technology from start to finish. As a part of the Infrastructure team, you will also be responsible for providing continual IT support. You will have excellent interpersonal & creative skills combined with the ability to work to tight deadlines. You will also have previous experience in identifying and delivering infrastructure projects along with a strong technical background, particularly in working with Active Directory, Virtualisation, Windows Server, Office 365 & PowerShell. Experience with networking - routers/switches, Security - firewalls and anti-virus, Dynamics CRM/Dynamics RMS would also be highly desirable. You will receive a salary ranging between £35,000 - £45,000 along with a generous benefits package.
