Infrastructure/Systems Administrator Lead

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Test programs or databases, correct errors and make necessary modifications. Modify existing databases and database management systems. Work as part of a project team to coordinate database development and determine project scope and limitations. Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system. Review project requests describing database user needs to estimate time and cost required to accomplish project. Perform other duties as assigned.

SKILLS:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Associate's degree in computer programming or relevant field required. Bachelor degree preferred. Five to seven years relevant experience required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
- Knowledge of computer hardware and software such as SQL, Visual Basic, Oracle, etc.
- Experience with any of the following: Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM), BMC Remedy and ITIL process, AIX navigation, Unix Shell Scripting, Database design/modelling, Flash Copy Manager or SQL code development.
- DB2 LUW proficiency with SAP experience in addition to a strong technical background required with HADR experience as well.
