Infrastructure Support Manager

Infrastructure Support, Manager, Windows, Windows servers, MSSQL, C#, Powershell, VBA, UAT Testing,Basel2 Infrastructure Support Manager- Risk and Treasury - Investment Banking -London Infrastructure Support Manager Infrastructure Support Manager required to manage the Risk and Treasury team within an investment bank based in the City. This global team focuses on Windows based technologies- mainly Windows Servers, MSSQL, C#, PowerShell and VBA. This team also covers the full front to back application including UAT testing. All applications are based around the credit risk area of the business. Main responsibilities include:- - Senior stakeholder management, service delivery management and a continual improvement of the service provider. - Liaising with IT and Business stakeholders and other related technology teams. - Ensuring that the global team is working to full potential, suitable areas for improvements are identified and any problems are addressed in a timely manner. - Identifying areas and tasks suitable for automation design and/or write scripts and automation tools to remove manual overhead from daily tasks. Requirements:- - Good understanding of Credit Risk metrics for both PFE and RWA analysis and collateral and netting within theBasel2 framework. - Good knowledge of relational databases and extracting data using MS-SQL. - Strong proven scripting and automation skills. - Working experience in Change and Workflow systems to gate-keep and manage applications - Strong Windows Server platform and application ecosystem. - Some development experience- ability to write code in at least one compiled language. Preferred:- - Perforce, JIRA, HP Quality Centre and SharePoint - Awareness of changes fromBasel2 toBasel3 and what they mean for IT systems - Familiar with Scrum/Kanban/Lean - AutoSys or similar automation tool - Knowledge of SSIS, C++, C#, PowerShell, VBA This is a VP level hire, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.
