Infrastructure Support Analyst

Our client is the world's most popular software brand seeking a SUPPORT ANALYST to provide tech support for tools and test infrastructure. We're looking for candidates with a positive attitude and the ability to balance many project simultaneously.

RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE:

- Troubleshooting network, OS, driver and installation failures
- Interacting with SQL Server (some T-SQL recommended but not required)
- Build Quota management Plans for File Servers
- Manage Backups for (5+) Servers
- Asset Management of 500+ Servers
- Patching
- Machine Lifecycle
- Ticket Management (with third party vendors)
- Inventory Management
- Building Servers/OS to specification
- Automating Processes via C#, PowerShell or Task Sequencing (SCM)
- Providing weekly status reports

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Windows Client and Server Knowledge
- Windows Security Model (Domains, User Security, System Security)
- Installing Software on Windows
- Managing Windows Servers
- Patching Servers via Windows Systems Update Service
- Networking Troubleshooting and Knowledge (IP to Routers)
- Some Testing of the Product

NICE TO HAVE:

- MCSE a plus
- SCCM Systems Center Configuration Manager
- Active Directory
- T-SQL

This contract position is expected to be 6 months in duration with possibility of extension.
