Infrastructure Support Analyst Edinburgh 3 month contract - 100 p/d

They have an urgent requirement for an Infrastructure Support Analyst for a 3 month contract role to be based in their Edinburgh Office.

This role will involve working in a small team undertaking the ongoing operational support of the companies UK Infrastructure. The teams remit ranges from level 2 Desktop support, Distributed Server, Networking to corporate Messaging. You would be expected to help out with 2nd line Desktop Support calls along with the rest of the team but will mainly be focussed on the operational support of their Distributed Server environment within theUK (~250 servers).

Essential experience:

* Previous 2nd or 3rd line support experience
* Experience in working on large scale IT projects.
* Windows Server 2003 / 2008 administration & troubleshooting
* Active Directory administration
* Microsoft Exchange 2007 (or later)
* Excellent communication & customer service skills

Desirable experience:

* Commvault Simpana v8
* VMWare vSphere v5
* Lotus Notes / Postini
* Microsoft Sharepoint
* Microsoft SCOM
* ITIL v2 / v3

Hours of work are 9am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, with the occasional requirement for out of hours/weekend work during busy periods.
