Edelway SA is a leading IT/Retail Executive Search Consultancy.
We are currently looking for an experienced Infrastructure Stream Lead to join our team of consultants at our prestigious multinational Retail Client in the French speaking part of Switzerland (Geneva/Lausanne).
Only English is required, other languages will be a plus.
THE ROLE:
Reporting to the program director, you will be responsible for the design and delivery of the global infrastructure and its deployment.
The technical infrastructure stream within the program includes SAP platform, eCommerce platform (including a native & web mobile platforms) and other 3rd party infrastructure (eg Retail, Telephony, solutions).
In this role, you will be accountable for the hosting strategy, software packages selection (versions) and setup, network configuration for the whole program.
For this role you need to have excellent knowledge in systems performance management.
YOU WILL:
Work closely with key technical stakeholders (including the IS Infrastructure team, Solution Managers, software editors and integrators)
Understand technical constraints and requirements, translate them into an integrated technical design and plan, validate with the architecture team and manage the delivery of a secure and reliable solution according to the program timelines and rollout schedule.
Furthermore, you will also have to participate to the definition and implementation of a new infrastructure operational model (maintenance/support processes) with the IS Infrastructure and Service Delivery teams.
YOUR PROFILE:
-Large scale (worldwide) SAP infrastructure design and implementation experience
-Strong Datacenter design experience
-Knowledgeable in some (or preferably all): SAP business and technical components (Retail, CRM), Databases and Application Servers for SAP, large Network topologies, PCI DSS, COBIT
-Experience in eCommerce platforms is a plus
-Knowledge of ITIL is a plus
-Management experience of similar scope/complexity
-Very strong stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills
