INFRASTRUCTURE SPECIALIST LINUX/UNIX - AMSTERDAM

Our client based in Amsterdam is looking for a highly trained and certified Linux system admin responsible for the health and complex problems on the Linux estate. This person will also be partly responsible for the design and creation of new systems. Experience with HA clustered environments with XEN hypervisor on RHEL 3 4 and 5 is required as well as experience with Satelite server. Preferably a certified lead systems engineer that will be able to set roadmap and technical directions, knowledge of ITIL Processes and provide senior support BAU

Senior knowledge of all Linux flavours, Linux Redhat 4.x & 5.x,  Linux Suse 9

Virtualization, Clustering, Tivoli tooling, P

Server deployment/install, configure

Performance management and analyses, Linux implementations;

Hardware Knowledge pSeries, SAN, Power 5, 6

Knowledge of Pure system environments;

Indepth knowledge of ResWisdom

Maximo

EXTRAS:

Able and prepared to travel.

Perform 7*24 hours support via on-call.

Perform Standby duties.
