EXCLUSIVE OPPORTUNITY:
This assignment will be working with one of Steria's most prestigious Government Clients. You will work through Steria Recruitment for Steria, the UK's leading Outsourcing and Technology Company.

This is a great new opportunity for an Infrastructure Solution Designer to design and document solutions to the requirements laid down by the P3MO and the Architecture team, in accordance with the Quality Management System.

The post holder will ensure solutions are implemented in such a way to ensure full acceptance and handover to the relevant support teams.

While the role has no direct reporting, it is expected that the post holder will act as a technical mentor/leader and disseminate SME knowledge throughout the account.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE (IN PREFERENCE ORDER):

- Extensive experience designing secure virtual environments
- Experience in the automated provision of virtual hosts
- Experience in building/supporting VDI environments
- Extensive experience with Firewall/VPN technologies from multiple vendors.
- Experience working with secure network environment/s
- Excellent problem solving
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to prioritise workload and complete tasks to an agreed schedule of works
- Can do attitude

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:

- ITIL Foundation
- Experience of being technical lead on a project
