Infrastructure Solution Architect (techno/functional) - Germany - 40hrs per week - remote - 2 3 month freelance project * Week 2 & 3 will be on site - plus expenses Location: Wolfsburg, Germany (Between Hanover, GR & Berlin, GR) Rate: negotiable based on skills & experience plus limited expenses while on site for weeks 2 & 3 MUST BE FLUENT IN GERMAN Overview: The Infrastructure Solution Architect (SA) will be responsible for the analysis & documentation of the infrastructure framework to fit the application, platform or system needs in line with clients' operational standards and principles. The SA must have experience in DC/Cloud migrations i.e. who can understand the HW/SW challenges in DCs and private cloud {Proof of Concept - POC}. The customer has outdated hardware & an old application implemented with Java and Oracle that will be Migrated to a private cloud solution with reengineering, implementing again with a newer version(s) of Java / Oracle. As Assessment is currently in process by your Peers. They will providing the solution ( the to be state) & you will be responsible for 3 areas within this project : * Application Owner Interviews * Infrastructure & Operations Interviews * Deliver & Present Assessment Report Requirements: 1. Must have 5 7 yrs experience designing Infrastructure Design Solutions Proof of concept (POC) }- which details the infrastructure design for the application, platform or system. o Generating requirements, together with other architects, engineers, application team(s) and user(s), to determine that all of the high level requirements have been met. o Generating products such as TADs, technical documents, logical flows, and models to keep the user(s), architects and the engineers constantly up to date and in agreement on the application, system or platform to be provided as it is evolving. 2. Must have experience providing advice that adhere to operational and technical standards, best practices, processes and procedures including: o Ensuring that all architectural products and products with architectural input are maintained in the most current state and never allowed to become obsolete. o Resolve internet architectural and operational problems impacting infrastructure and product availability and performance globally. o Research and evaluate new technology for possible deployment in client's internet infrastructure. o Implement, manage and support internet infrastructure components while leveraging current standards and best practices.
