Infrastructure Solution Architect

My client, a global consulting company, is looking for an Infrastructure Solution Architect for a 6 month rolling contract.

The Technical Architect is a leading technology, who uses extensive experience and expertise to define technology strategy for clients and to create infrastructure designs. The role has Technical Authority across technology strategy and across solutions for multiple clients and services.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

FORMULATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF TECHNICAL STRATEGY:

- Definition of client, programme, project strategy;
- Awareness and assessment of developing technology within the IT marketplace.
- Completion of Programme, Project Technical Architecture and designs:
- Capture of industry generic and client specific technical requirements;
- Definition of technology solution and decision on components for procurement.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Minimum of 5 years experience in advanced technical role
- Broad understanding across the majority of the following: Storage, Midrange, Security, Virtualization, Networks
- Proven track record in creating many types of documentation including Logical Technology Models and/or Strategy documentation
- Demonstrable ability to interface with internal and external clients, at all levels including technical and business levels
- Well developed skills in creating and delivering presentations including objection handling
