INFRASTRUCTURE SOFTWARE ENGINEER HILLSBORO, OR 5 MONTH CONTRACT

The Developer selected for this position will be responsible for being a part of the team which will provide fundamental and compelling software infrastructure to enable the Technical Computing Group Software Team to define, design, build, and test software products for the High Performance Computing environment (Super Computers). Specific areas of work include enablement of automated and continuous integration builds and tests of the entire product software stack, source code configuration and change management, metric creation for project monitoring, enabling standard Intel monitoring software for static analysis, and IPM escapes. Familiarity with git, make files, and rpm usages and structures are required.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Solid Software Configuration Management process knowledge with a focus on creating reproducible builds
- Linux user space guru - especially SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES)
- Continuous Integration (CI) tools and methodologies (Jenkins, Team City, or Buildbot)
- Git
- Build and test automation
- Writing and editing GNU Makefiles
- Bash
