Infrastructure Project Manager (Must have a PMP Certification)

My Client is a highly dynamic and reliable computer consultancy and reseller providing all leading best of breed Resources, IT hardware, software, networking products. They seek a talented, enthusiastic Project Manager to plan, execute, and finalise project(s) according to strict deadlines and within budget.
The main objective of your role will include but not be limited to:
- Improve the information technology and related capabilities of the end clients Entities
- Improve process efficiency by leveraging Supplier's capabilities
- Reduce the end clients Entities' costs of receiving information technology services
- Provide a solution that enables flexibility to address ongoing changes in the business operations of the Entities, as well as changes in technology throughout.
- Refocus the Entities' internal employees on higher-value retained activities
- Leverage Supplier's insights into and experience in information technology.
Project Requirements
Project assignments have a focus on consolidating 2 company's infrastructure, improving manageability and technical currency of the environment and the end-user experience
Project assignments will be 70% Data Centre/Infrastructure and 30% End User Computing and will cover DC floor space and infrastructure build-outs. Technology domains include network, security, storage and compute; with migration project scope included in several projects
Migration support will include full-life cycle project work; as well as weekly post-migration incident reviews and lessons-learned development and integration
Experience
6+ years of experience in a PM role for core data center and technology transformations
Good ability to perform project integration management, which involves among other things managing project plans (scope, schedule and resource), ensuring compliance and security guidelines are maintained
SCOPE MANAGEMENT
Strong ability to manage scope and maintain requirements and project definition baselines
Solid understanding of the interdependencies between data center functions and technology domains
RISK/ISSUE MANAGEMENT
Proven ability to manage risk and issue cadences; and proactively managing ability to meet contractual milestones
DELIVERABLES AND MILESTONE MANAGEMENT
Proven ability to manage deliverables and milestones proactively
SCHEDULE MANAGEMENT
Worked with in Microsoft Project or similar scheduling tools; with ability to manage and report a Schedule Performance Index (SPI) on a weekly basis
COMMUNICATIONS MANAGEMENT
Strong facilitator with ability to build collaborative teams and earn trust from the customer on day one,
Very good ability to present project status across RAID and other reporting cadences
Good ability to collaborate and initiate discussions on complex and ambiguous situations and adapt communication plans throughout the life cycle to ensure high performance
