Infrastructure Project Manager Job

Yoh has multiple contract openings for INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT MANAGERS to support our client in St. Charles, MO. These are long-term multi-year assignments.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- This project manager will work in the project management group and will be assigned to projects on an as needed basis. Projects range from upgrades, maintenance, migrations, resource optimization, hardware consolidation to standing up new infrastructure.
- Planning, directing, coordinating, and monitoring activities of six or more project teams involved in the analysis, design, development, and implementation of IT Infrastructure initiatives.
- Collaborates with others to define project scope and objectives, identifies required skills and resources for project team, develops detailed work plans, and provides project status.
- Conducts interim and post-project reviews and conducts quality assurance audits.
- In addition, the Project Manager anticipates and identifies project issues and risks, recommends solutions, and works with senior management to implement solutions.
- Types of projects assigned include but are not limited to; data center migrations, infrastructure upgrades, virtualization, and network hardening, and system implementations in support of application development efforts.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- MUST BE CURRENTLY ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN THE US FOR ANY EMPLOYER.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred.
- Two (2) plus years of infrastructure related project management experience.
- Proficient knowledge of project management concepts, from planning and inception through implementation and support.
- Proven ability to concurrently manage multiple end-to-end projects.
- Intimate knowledge of phases of full life cycle development.
- Proficient knowledge of analysis techniques, tool usage and standards.
- Knowledgeable with computer system concepts (ie, Servers, storage, database, Middleware, and networking.).
- Proven leadership, results orientation, and self-motivation traits.
- Must possess strong meeting facilitation skills.
- Exceptional communications both oral and written.
