Infrastructure Project Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

Resource 1 is in need of a Project Manager for a position located in Oakbrook, IL. Individual should have 4+ years of experience managing large IT Infrastructure related projects in an enterprise environment including Windows OS migration, Network Segmentation, Client VPN Upgrade, VM Hardware Upgrade, Enterprise Architecture Integration and etc. Individual will be responsible for managing multiple projects at once so relevant experience is a plus as is the ability to multitask. Experience working within a Project Management Office (PMO) is required. Individual should be proactive in identifying and managing all significant issues and risks and escalating them as necessary. Will be responsible for defining and managing the scope, schedule, budget and plan for projects throughout the life cycle. Will be responsible for ensuring all project milestones are tracked and fulfilled. Should understand project goals and objectives, and ensure that projects are setup to achieve these goals. Will be responsible for weekly and monthly status reports as well as weekly project meetings. Will also define communications plans and maintain communications throughout the project. Individual will be expected to report and communicate project status to executives and other project stakeholders with in the. Project Management certification is preferred, but not required for this position.

REQUIRED SKILLS: Project Management with concentration in Infrastructure, Multitasking, Project Planning, Status Reporting, IT Budgets and Resource Management.
