Infrastructure Project Manager

Major Financial client seeking Infrastructure Project Manager. This will be an initial 6 month contract opportunity.

Project Management skills required for delivery of infrastructure projects.

Skills and Essential Experience:

- Chairs operational and steering project committees ensuring relevant stakeholders are involved.
- Manages the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple or large-scale projects according to PRINCE2 methodology.
- Coordinates Managers and resources working on various project streams. Escalate to higher level of Management when required.
- Reviews high-level deliverables across various projects.
- Minimises exposure to risks across managed or conflicting projects.
- Manages scope and mitigates risk across projects.
- Educated to Degree level
- Evidence of certification in Project Management
- 10 years' experience in managing projects an international large scale company
- Managed large scale IT infrastructure project, preferably involving the relocation of a datacentre of a financial institution.
- Coordinated a team of 20 or more in a hierarchical or functional context
- Understanding and appreciation of Swiss context (regulatory, cultural)
- Fluent English
- Fluent French
- German - added advantage
- Thorough understanding of IT infrastructure.
- Management of datacentre.
- PRINCE2 certification or equivalent.

Experience of working as Infrastructure Project Manager in a Banking environment would be highly desirable.
